• Makes a colourful feature in the veg plot and on the plate.
• The deep green foliage and vibrant stems even look fabulous in ornamental borders amongst brightly coloured bedding.
• This easy-to-grow vegetable is extremely versatile in the kitchen with every part of the plant being edible so nothing goes to waste.
• The leaves can be picked young and added to salads or wait until the plants mature and then steam, stir fry or braise the leaves and stems.
• Will supply a continual harvest from July through to October and again sparingly throughout winter until the following spring.
• Height 60-70cm (24-27in).
• Spread: 40-50cm (16-20in).
