Heygates Cleaned Whole Wheat 20kg. • A complementary feed that can be used for a variety of poultry, ducks, geese and game birds. • Although lower in oils than cut maize, it is higher in protein and makes a useful addition to any poultry feeding programme. • It should not be used as a replacement for a quality compound feed such as country layers pellets. -
Heygates Country Chick. Crumbs 20kg. A similar ration to the Baby Chick but without the coccidiostat. Country chick can be fed to most young poultry and is specifically recommended for wildfowl. -
Country Layers pellets and meal provide a complete feed for free range laying birds. Traditional quality ingredients are used to make a 3mm pellet or a coarsely ground meal. Calcium is added to provide strong shells, together with all the necessary minerals and vitamins for a healthy bird. To give an attractive yolk colour, pigments extracted from marigold petals are added together with another compound which occurs naturally in the skins of oranges. -
Heygates Cut Maize 20kg. Heygates Cut Maize is a high energy feed that can be used as an alternative to wheat. It should be fed as a complementary feed in addition to a good quality complete peelet such as CoOuntry Layers Pellets. Cut Maize has a much higher oil content than wheat, but is lower in protein. It is an ideal source of additional energy over the colder winter months. It is suitable for all types of poultry, ducks, geese and game birds. -
Heygates Duck & Goose 20kg. A general purpose pelleted feed, suitable for ducks, geese and ornamental poultry. A general purpose, complete compound grower feed for gamebirds, wild fowl and domestic poultry. Suitable to follow on from Country Chick Crumbs when poultry are at 3 - 4 weeks Can be fed right through until finishing or replaced by finisher pellets from 10 weeks onwards if an earlier finish is required Contains copper. -
