Baileys Feeds

Baileys Fibre Plus Nuggets. 20kg. • Chunky, high fibre cubes designed to be fed as a partial forage replacer to horses and ponies of all types at rest or in work. • Their crunchy texture and natural fibre content ensure the horse has plenty to chew on and they are easily fed on the ground, or in boredom toys, to encourage natural foraging behaviour. • Low starch, low energy nuggets contain quality protein, mirroring levels found in grass hay, and have no added vitamins and minerals so should ideally be fed alongside additional forage sources. • Extracts of flavours of essential oils. • Particularly palatable so are ideal for tempting fussy feeders or convalescents. • Soften easily in water to provide a useful alternative fibre source when difficulty is experienced consuming hay or haylage.

Baileys No.14 Lo-Cal Balancer. 20kg. • A top specification nutrient-dense pelleted balancer, containing all a horse or pony needs for health and well-being, without the calories associated with a traditional mix or cube. • Quality protein sources supply essential amino acids to build and repair muscle and other tissues, including tendons and hooves, while added linseed contributes essential Omega 3 fatty acids for supple skin and a super-shiny coat. • Superior vitamin, mineral and antioxidant content supports good health and includes chelated minerals, which are more easily absorbed by the horse’s body. • Contains healthy levels of biotin, alongside other nutrients known to encourage healthy hoof growth. • Low starch and sugar levels, meaning it is suitable for equines prone to laminitis, while protected probiotic yeast and Digest Plus prebiotic support fibre-digesting bacteria, general gut health and digestive efficiency.

Baileys No.21 Ease & Excel. 15kg. • Ideal for promoting weight gain, maintaining condition and supporting performance in all horses and ponies requiring a low starch diet. • The high fibre content is rich in superfibres, which are highly digestible and yield large amounts of slow release energy. • High in the soluble fibre, pectin, which, in acidic conditions like those in the stomach, alters its structure to one that is similar to mucus and has been shown to bind to, and thicken, the stomach mucosa thereby protecting it from acid attack. • Contains no cereal flakes, thus ensuring a minimal starch content and making the mix ideal for stressy, excitable types as well as those with clinical requirements for a low starch diet, like horses prone to gastric ulcers. • Fully balanced with vitamins and chelated minerals and contains superior levels of antioxidants, from vitamins C, E and selenium, to support healthy muscle function, performance and immunity. • The bespoke In-Feed Formula, from Protexin, contains natural antacids, to buffer excess stomach acid, and ingredients to soothe and protect the gut lining. • Its pre and probiotics support a healthy gut microflora, encouraging digestive efficiency and stimulating fibre digestion, of particular importance for horses whose forage intake may become limited.

Baileys No.4 Top Line Conditioning Cubes. 20kg. • Barley-free and based on micronised wheat, the cubes are non-heating and highly digestible and are renowned for restoring lost condition without blowing horses’ minds. • Provides excellent quality protein, as well as soya oil for coat condition and as an additional source of slow release energy. • Weight gain can be promoted without having to resort to excessive volumes of hard feed, helping to avoid the associated digestive risks. • Superior vitamin and mineral profile, including chelated minerals. • Can be fed to all types of horses and ponies at rest, in work or competing up to the highest levels. • Updated formula also includes a boosted natural antioxidant package, containing grapeseed extract, vitamin C and E and organic selenium, to support the immune system, which is particularly beneficial to underweight horses who may be generally run-down.
